Lihua Sun
I am a Collegium Researcher (junior group leader) at the Turku PET Centre, which has been the primary site of my research activities. Since 2022, I have also held the title of Associate Professor at Fudan University. My work focuses on the neural mechanisms underlying seasonal affective changes, the effects of hormones on brain function, and the neural basis of social emotions. I earned my PhD in Behavioural Neurology (with distinction, top 5%) from the School of Medicine at Tampere University in 2016. My doctoral research was conducted at the Behavioural Neurology Research Unit, the first lab of its kind in Finland, under the supervision of Professor Kaisa Hartikainen (now Professor of Neurology at the University of Helsinki). Following my PhD, I completed postdoctoral training at the Turku PET Centre and the Department of Psychology, University of Turku, under the supervision of Professor Lauri Nummenmaa. In 2023, I was awarded the title of Docent in System Neuroscience and Neuroendocrinology at University of Turku.

Yue Wang
I am a medical doctor, carrying on my Master’s degree study at Fudan University. I joined the Sun lab in 2025. Currently, my research focuses on the impact of growth hormone to cognition and brain functional connectivity.
