Turku PET Centre Seminar (1-2 ECTS credits)

In 2026, I will coordinate the Turku PET Centre Monday Seminar series. The seminar program is designed to offer a comprehensive overview of positron emission tomography (PET), spanning foundational topics such as PET instrumentation and radiochemistry, through preclinical and clinical metabolism studies, and extending to advanced applications of PET in brain research and cognitive neuroscience. Across the year, a total of 22 lectures will be delivered by experts in their respective fields. Participants who attend at least 10 seminars and write a seminar diary will receive 1 ECTS credit, recognizing their engagement and learning in this multidisciplinary program. As coordinator, I will oversee speaker invitations and scheduling, and I will evaluate participants’ eligibility for academic credit.

Advanced Endocrinology and Metabolism course (2 ECTS credits)

The 2026 spring course includes six ”Meet the expert” sessions (1h 45 min each), and I will be one of the experts. The session begins with an introductory lecture given by 1-2 students (30 min). The lecture is prepared on the basis of a review article (n=1) and a research article (n=1), and then continues with the part led by the expert (75 min), by answering the questions sent by participating students in advance, and telling about own research. The questions are made on the basis of the above mentioned research article provided by the expert.

Turku PET Centre Brain Imaging Course (5 ECTS credits)

Since 2017, I have delivered the “First-level analysis of fMRI data” (45-minute) lecture as part of this annual course.
